Double Hexposure by Wolf Blazar

Double Hexposure by Wolf Blazar

Wolf Blazar is a contemporary digital artist based in Chelmsford, Essex. With a self-taught artistic and creative background, he has developed a distinctive and totally unique artistic style he titles Double Hexposure. With this, his debut published collection, his approach combines the techniques of double exposure art with the familiar hexagonal shape of the honey bee cell. While incorporating multiple images within a single composition, he aims to offer viewers a deeper and more thought-provoking visual experience.Building stories and narratives around every piece, he loves the artistic concept of a ‘painting within a painting’ and incorporates this style in a modern & contemporary way, in an effort to stimulate diverse interpretations and perspectives of his work. Each piece starts with a composition sketch and is then transferred to a digital tablet to be painted digitally, stroke by stroke.

Since the conception of his recognisable “Double Hexposure” designs, Wolf Blazar has been working with a small and exclusive series of galleries over recent months with great success. The artist has already received a number of accolades for his unique style and modern techniques that has inspired the confidence to create his latest stunning 3D series that we feel offers something really different to anything else the market has to offer right now.

3D-Hex Artworks are all made & fabricated by hand, by the artist at his studios. The additional Hexagon pieces that provide the floating three-dimensional aesthetic are delicately trimmed and are layered across specific sections of the artworks and are floated at three varying heights.
