A UK artist based in Newquay, Emily Donald studied Art and Design before specialising in Printed Textile Design at the University of East London.

Emily is influenced by street art, pop art, and the surfer/skater aesthetic which she combines with he background in textiles to produce pieces full of patterns and textures using pen and ink, spray paint, print and collage.

She also finds inspiration in the places she has visited to capture the energy of a moment remembered from her world travels, most often birds. Her style has been impacted on by her time spent overseas, with her use of lines reminiscent of traditional Asian artwork.

Emily has had work exhibited across the UK and recently painted at Upfest in Bristol.
